List of hazardous and other items which carriers are prohibited by the law from transporting:

- Aerosol cans and pressurized containers including deodorant, shaving cream, hair spray
- Explosives

- Light bulbs and fluorescent bulbs
- Batteries
- Nail polish remover
- Open liquor bottles
- Antifreeze
- Shoe polish
- Bleach
- Chemistry sets
- Propane gas
- Lighter fluid
- Candles
- Cord wood
NOTE: Guns can be carried as long as they have the bolt, firing pin, and trigger assembly disassembled. Check with state law enforcement for the various state and federal laws related to the transport of guns and munitions. Overseas shipments are subject to individual country regulations. - Be realistic about how much you are willing to pay
- Label everything well in advance
- Place a classified ad in the newspaper
- Put signs up in the neighborhood
- Be willing to bargain
- Display merchandise on tables.
- Set up displays well in advance

- Start with lots of change and take checks only from people you know.
